GOLF+'s mission is to grow the game of golf by making it more accessible.

Through our game, we strive to introduce golf to people all over the world who may have never experienced the sport due to location or lack of resources. For those that already have a love for the game, we aim to bridge the gap of accessibility for avid golfers to better their game through training and practice; or play with their family and friends anywhere in the world.

We believe in the progression of the golf community - through both inclusion and technology.

Our Story...

Ryan Engle and Robert Holzhauer were randomly paired up on Jimmy Clay Golf Course in the spring of 2018. Ryan had developed a prototype of Golf Scope, an AR app designed to read the break of a green and was testing it on each hole and Rob found it fascinating.

The AR app launched and won App of the Day multiple times from Apple, as well as a feature in MyGolfSpy, and Rob decided to join full time as a cofounder.

Once the Oculus Quest launched in May of 2019, it was clear to the team VR and golf had a lot to offer each other and the team went all in developing Pro Putt. With a simple prototype demonstrating the physics and a few holes designed, the team was able to get accepted into the Oculus Store and partner with Topgolf to launch the game.

The game released in May of 2020 as a putting focused experience. In November of 2020 the team added a virtual Topgolf experience with up to 8 people hanging out in bays, playing Topgolf games. That fueled the desire to get a full golf experience built and in November of 2021 the team launched GOLF+ and partnered with the PGA of America.
