Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions? Here is everything you need to know before teeing off with GOLF+.

What is GOLF+?

GOLF+ makes the official VR golf apps of the PGA TOUR, built for Meta Quest. GOLF+ VR puts you on 50+ real championship courses with your own swing. GOLF+ Putting puts a true clone of a real green on your floor and reads your own putter and ball in mixed reality. Over two million golfers play.

What is the difference between GOLF+ VR and GOLF+ Putting?

GOLF+ VR is the full game: full-swing rounds, the range, weekly tournaments, multiplayer and the GOLF+ TOUR. GOLF+ Putting is a separate app for the Quest 3 and 3S: the headset shows your real room, the green is laid over your floor, and you putt with your own putter and a real ball. Both apps share one GOLF+ PASS.

Do I use my real golf swing?

Yes. The controller tracks your club path, face angle, speed and tempo, and the ball flight follows, from a full driver to a delicate chip. A Deadeye DriVR club attachment puts your controller in a weighted shaft with a real grip. You can find them here.

Does the headset come with GOLF+?

Yes. Every Meta Quest sold on this store from November 1 to December 31 ships with GOLF+ VR installed as part of the Meta Holiday Bundle. There is nothing to redeem. GOLF+ Putting is a free download for the Quest 3 and 3S.

Do I need a subscription to play?

GOLF+ VR includes original course designs you can play as much as you want. All 50+ championship courses, and everything in GOLF+ Putting, unlock with the GOLF+ PASS subscription: $99.99/year, purchased inside the app when you activate it, with a special first-year offer of $49.99 for your first year. GOLF+ PASS is not sold on this store.

Do I need to be a good golfer to play?

Not at all. Whether you are a scratch golfer or just starting out, GOLF+ is made for every level. It is easy to pick up, and plenty of players say it helps their real game.

What else can I do on a Meta Quest besides GOLF+?

A lot. The Quest platform has apps for fitness, entertainment, simulations and hangouts, and watching golf in a full theatre setup is a must for a golf fan.
