Mixed reality blends the full green into the room you already have, so you read and roll long putts in your space. You need enough room to stand and make your stroke, and about four feet for the ball to roll out before it hits a pillow or soft stop.
Do I use my own putter? What ball?
Yes, your own putter and a standard golf ball. Nothing to strap on and nothing to calibrate. The headset's cameras read real putter-to-ball contact.
Which Quest do I need?
GOLF+ Putting runs on the Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S. Both putt identically. The Quest 3 has sharper colour passthrough and a wider view; the Quest 3S is the better value.
What does GOLF+ Putting cost?
The app is a free download from the Meta store. To play it you will subscribe to the GOLF+ PASS inside the app once your headset arrives. GOLF+ PASS is $99.99/year, and you will see a special first-year offer of $49.99 for your first year when you subscribe. It also unlocks all 50+ courses in GOLF+ VR. It is not sold on this store.
What comes with the headset?
